The urge to climb rocks is universal! Whether you’re interested in an enjoyable day outside on the rock or want to gain more technical skills for outdoor climbing, we’re here to make your experience fantastic. We climb at all of the classic New England crags (Pawtuckaway, Rumney, Cathedral, White Horse, Acadia and more!) and would look forward to being your risk manager and ambassador to outdoor rock climbing.
All classes are for all levels of yogi and are free for Salt Pump members and folks using day passes or punch passes. Mats and props provided.
Monday 6-7 PM
Vinyasa Flow with Wendi. This class focuses on linking the breath to fluid movement, building heat, strength, flexibility and connecting to inner calm and grounding. This class is taught to music that will energize and motivate.
Monday 7:15-8:15 PM
Low Flow with Sasha. This gentle vinyasa-style class focuses on three things: slow movement, low poses, and deep breaths. We'll move and flow slowly to hold poses longer, stay close to our mats for gentle movements with minimal intensity, and use deep breaths to help us stay grounded and present, supporting our movement.
Tuesday 6:15-7:15 PM
Flow to Relax with Chetana. A moving meditation that will move your body through a yoga flow that will connect with your breath. A yoga practice that will calm the mind from all the 'noise' that is constant in our tech-heavy lives. From flowing through the asanas you will be taken into Yin poses that will begin to bring stillness. This yoga practice will not only enhance your climbing but may transform it to take you to your next level. Sound healing bowls may be incorporated with a guided meditation.
Wednesday 6:00-7:00 PM
Self Massage & Mobility with Martin. Between climbing and the stressors of daily life, everyone finds tension throughout their body. This class will focus on the use of self-massage, aiming to target specific muscle groups and work out knots that a foam roller alone cannot get to. Incorporating intentional breath work, we will use Yoga Tune Up Fitness ® massage therapy balls to release tension throughout the body and provide an increase in mobility. Students may request attention on muscles that may be specifically tight for them. We will finish with a brief savasana to allow the body to integrate changes and release any stress that students may come to class with.
Thursday 6-7 PM
Power Vinyasa with Beth. Linking breath to continuous movement, this class focuses on strength and flexibility. A dynamic class synced to music for added motivation.
Thursday 7:15-8:15PM
Hatha Alignment with Brianna. This hatha style yoga class focuses both on physical health and mental well-being. Connecting the breath (pranayama) with movement to center the mind and body. Stretch and strengthen the body while you relax and ease the mind. This class is suitable for all levels and can be modified to fit you!
